Txakoli Urturan

Txakoli Urturan is a wine from Arabako Txakolina (DO).

It is a blend of Hondarrabi Zuri Zerratia (95%) and Riesling (5%) grape varieties.

Produce from own vineyards worked under a viticulture of minimal and reasoned intervention. The plots are located 340 and 400 meters of altitude, in Lezama within the Ayala Valley and with a clayey-calcareous and clayey type soil with stone sand.

Harvested in the second half of October. To make Urtaran, grapes are selected within each plot the areas with the most potential and are vinified separately.

Elaborated by spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in barrels of 600l of chestnut and 500l of Hungarian oak with eight months of permanence on lees.

From a tasting point of view, it has a bright straw yellow colour. Intense aromas with citrus notes, white flowers and a mineral background.

In the mouth has a round entry with a structure in which we find citrus and honeyed notes, with a long and persistent finish.

We recommend consuming it at a temperature between 11-13ºC.
