Capricho de Merenzao
D.O. Ribeira Sacra
Capricho de Merenzao is one of the ancestral wines from Appellation of Origin (D.O.) Ribeira Sacra.
It is a single-varietal Merenzao grape variety.
Capricho de Merenzao is an ode to the unique Merenzao grape, autochthonous of Ribeira Sacra, refined and with a strong personality, expression of an Atlantic climate and schist-rich soils.
From a tasting point of view, it has a red reminiscent of pillory tonality, with aromas of black forest fruits, spices and minerals. On the palate, it has a long fruit with a textured earthy finish.
It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, beef, poultry and with the famous Galician octopus dish.
We recommend consuming it at a temperature around 15ºC.
